I'm so glad that you tried it and liked it. I gave mine away to my mom as a present but I'm thinking that i need to make some more soon!

Re: Going Bananas for Granola

I ended up making this and loved it! Though if you kept it packed up in the fridge or even freezer I don't see why it couldn't last a few weeks or longer! Just remember it doesn't have all of those preservatives that you find in your supermarket ones, so a cold place would be your best bet.

Re: Going Bananas for Granola

This is great! I will definitely be making it. I love the reduced sugar due to the banana. A wonderful idea. I love granola and am always looking for ways to make it a bit healthier without fake ingredients. Thanks!

Re: Going Bananas for Granola

I love homemade granola. My recipe uses maple syrup, butter, and brown sugar but in very small amounts compared to all the good stuff (flax, oats, wheat bran). I'll be posting it soon as well. I never though of using banana though, and think it is a FAB idea!

Re: Going Bananas for Granola

I just posted about healthy granola today too, love that you use a banana in this! I was thinking of using pumpkin next time in mine :)

Re: Going Bananas for Granola

Oh this is great! Just today I promised my husband I'd make him some good homemade granola so he'll stop buying it for $3.99/lb. Thank you!

Re: Going Bananas for Granola

Sounds yummy! How long do you think it will keep before spoiling?

Re: Going Bananas for Granola

Ooh, I've never made my own granola, but this recipe has me intrigued. Will probably try it later this week. Thanks!

Re: Going Bananas for Granola

This looks like something I'll have to try. I love how it doesn't use tons of sugar and oil. Thanks!

Re: Going Bananas for Granola

My friend gave me a granola recipe using banana as the sweetener during the holidays and I still need to try making it! I think this weekend I'll have to make both your almond milk and the banana granola. Thanks for the inspiration :-)
